We recently researched one of the most accessible products on the market where it is stated on its website, marketing literature and product information that ‘it is suitable for wet areas’.
It was disheartening and unfortunately not surprising to discover that this widely available VJ board was not compliant with AS3740 because it was made of timber.
We had two projects just this week wishing to use this product for bathrooms and each time we advised that it does not comply with AS3740 and cannot be used.
